The Best Christmas Present Ever

We are excited about the upcoming Christmas Play. It is going to be awesome. This time of year is so much fun. We get to eat lots of good food, no school, and lots of family and friends to hang out with. Wow, i love Christmas, but the real reason i love Christmas is because it is about Jesus. Happy Birthday JESUS!!! You are the greates gift. I encourage all of you to give the greatest gift to all around you this Christmas and all year long. Share JESUS with others. Jesus is our gift but we can also give Him gifts. The gift we give Him is our heart.

Sonic Blast

You definately want to come to Kidztown and hear about Sonic Blast. We are going to sharing about the Holy Spirit this week and how He gives us power and boldness. He gives us a Sonic Blast. We are going to learn about Peter and how after being filled with the Spirit, he became a great witness to all those around him. Exciting things are happening at Covenant Kidztown and we want you to be a part. The amazing thing about all of this is the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in you and me when we believe in Jesus. Now, that is Awesome. You have the power of God in you to be a great witness. The Father has great things planned for you and we are going to be looking at the Book of Acts this week. Come ready for a Sonic Blast not just from the past.

Action

1 John 3:18 says for us not to just talk about love, but let us put love in action. The way we treat others really shows our love walk. Remember that God is love. So today put your love in action and treat others the same way you want to be treated.

Fall Fun

Isaiah 58:11 The Lord will continually guide you, and satisfy your desire. The Lord wants you blessed and having fun. The Joy of the Lord is your strength. During this weather change remember that the Lord is making things new for you.

Sing, Sing, Sing

OK Kidzchoir rocks. Wednesday nights are awesome with Rebecca and Debra. you guys are singing and dancing, and i think this will be the best Christmas Play ever. i know school is going great and football season is here. lots of you are cheering and playing football and some of you are doing dance and softball. WOW you are awesome kids and busy. but STOP and remember to make time to read your BIBLE. GIVE

Luke 6:38 says, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over!”
When you give, God gives back. The Father God wants to do things in your life greater than you can even imagine. One of the greatest things you can give are your words. Give words of life to all of those around you and say good things about yourself. You are the righteousness of God.

PUT ON LOVE!!!

Sunday morning in big church, Pastor Gregory sang a song about putting on Love. 1 Corinthians 13 is the Love chapter in the Bible. It says that Love never fails. The Love of God never changes. It says that there is faith, hope, and love, but the greatest of these is love. I challenge you kidz to walk in Love. To be kind and forgiving and remember that we can love others because Christ first loved us. Lots of Love!!!

Words!!

there is an old saying, “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me,” that is not true. Words are powerful. you can make someone happy or sad by saying different things to them. in the Book of James, chapter 3, it talks about the tongue. you know that there is life and death in what we say, so i encourage you to weigh your words. Remember the golden rule,”do unto others as you would have them do unto you!”

One of a Kind Treasure

God is a one-of-a-kind treasure. when you find Him, you can live as best friends with the King of the whole universe. He created the earth, has the power to calm storms, make blind people see and He cares for your every need, and when Jesus died for our sins, He showed us a love greater than any treasure. God’s love for you is so enormus that you can spend the rest of your life trying to figure it out. There is always more love to enjoy it never runs out. The greatest treasure you can ever possess is having “the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide , how long , how high, and how deep love really is” Ephesians 3:18 NLT. In Kidztown i want you to know that Jesus loves you so much and He is the greatest treasure.
