Free Stuff

GRACE is getting something great that you don’t deserve. it is a free gift. it says in Ephesians 2:8 NIV, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God!” Grace is free stuff. Think of the last time you got something you really wanted for free….. Think of the last time you gave something of value away to someone else for free….. Jesus loves you so much that He gave His life so we could have grace!

Friend!

you are God’s friend… how cool is that. it says in John 15:15 that you are Christ friend. you are also adopted and are God’s child Ephesians 1:5 and John 1:12! Jesus says that He will never leave nor forsake you, so if you feel lonely remember you are never alone. you have Jesus for your Best Friend. Jeremiah 29:11 tells you that the Lord has a great plan for your life. it says in Matthew 5:13-14 that you are the salt and light of the earth. You are important!! your life is a light to all those around you. you are God’s friend and that makes you a good friend to others. share God’s love with all those around you!!!

December!!!

Jesus!! Jesus!!! Jesus Birthday… so excited to be celebrating Jesus with you guys in Kidztown. This Sunday night at 6pm we are having a Happy Birthday Jesus party in KidzRock… Food, fun, fellowship and crafts…. this entire month we are celebrating the gift of Jesus. We learned about the angels announcing His birth, and to not be afraid. We also know that John 3:16 says that the Father God sent Him because He loves us soooooo much. So we are God’s gift… how cool is that!!!

Turkey Talk

Well we just had a great Thanksgiving at our house. lots of turkey and lots of talk. and i am so Thankful for all of you guys in Kidztown and for Jesus!! You are always on the Father God’s mind, and He is thinking great things about you. when you ask Jesus to be Lord and Saviour, you have God in you and His ability so that you can win. God is the strength of your life. So when you begin to talk about things, talk about how great God is and how Big He is in you… You can do BIG things!!

Thank you

it is the time of year for thanksgiving. jeff and i like to go shopping and eat. jeff really likes to eat ice cream… but when i think about thanksgiving i am thankful for Jesus and for you. and really we should be thankful everyday. the Lord has great things for us, even better than shopping or ice cream, and all we have to do is say thank you and realize they belong to us. He gives us the fruit of the Spirit Gal 5! it is awesome serving the Father God. so remember that if you have said yes to Jesus then you are in God’s family! You belong to Jesus! and i am thankful you are a part of Kidztown….

UNIQUENESS

The memory verse for this month is 1 Corinthians 12:4. There are different kinds of gifts. But they are all given by the same Spirit. The word for the month is UNIQUENESS! You are unique!! the Father God made all of us different. Deborah in Judges 4 stood out. our lives should stand out too. we are not like the world around us, but we are like Jesus. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. as we learn more about our heavenly Father we will also learn more about ourselves… you are made in the image of God! that is cool stuff and makes you super special!

Put Me In

ok, Coach Jesus i want to play… that is all you have to do to be on Father God’s team. and then you are immediately His Most Valuable Player. You are God’s favorite! so if you see something that needs to be done take the initiative and run after it. go for the goal. all positions on the field are important and they all have to work together to score. so remember to play and play hard. give it all you have. go for the touchdowns, homeruns and goals of life! you are a winner.

Heaven Is Real!!

How cool to think that Jesus said He was going to prepare a place for us…. so neat. you have a mansion on a street of gold.1 Cor 2:9 no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him!! there is no sin in heaven. it will be an awesome place where we will work and grow and everything we do will be successful… and the coolest part to me is that i will be with all of you and Jesus all the time.

JONAH!!! wow what a fish!

The story of Jonah is so cool to me. amazing how we can hear the Lord and choose to not obey. He had a purpose and destiny to share the Word of the Lord with Ninevah. He learned about compassion, forgiveness and marine animals.. we should always follow peace, and peace is the direction of the Lord.
